Helping Disability Providers Improve Financial Sustainability and Make Better Decisions

Disability Financial Clarity (DFC) was established to support disability providers, self-managed participants, injured workers and individuals with clearer financial insight, stronger operational understanding and practical support during periods of growth, change or uncertainty.

The disability and NDIS environment continues to evolve rapidly. Providers face increasing pressure around compliance, staffing, SIL sustainability, cash flow management and operational performance. At the same time, individuals living with disability, injury or reduced work capacity often require greater financial visibility and support to confidently navigate important financial decisions.

Many organisations and individuals are highly capable in their respective fields but lack the financial reporting, operational visibility or practical guidance needed to make informed decisions and plan effectively for the future.

Disability Financial Clarity was created to help bridge that gap.

Led by John Tomlinson, CPA, CIMA, DFC combines accounting expertise with practical experience in financial management, governance, operational improvement and business reporting.

Through both professional and personal experience, John understands the challenges that organisations and individuals can face when navigating disability, injury, financial uncertainty and organisational change. This perspective enables DFC to provide practical, independent and outcome-focused support tailored to each client's circumstances.

The focus extends beyond traditional bookkeeping and compliance services to include:

  • SIL financial modelling and sustainability reviews

  • Financial reporting and business performance analysis

  • Cash flow and profitability reviews

  • Operational reviews and business improvement initiatives

  • Change management and implementation support

  • Financial systems and reporting improvement

  • Participant financial support and administration

  • Financial clarity reviews for individuals

  • WorkCover, injury and life transition financial support

At Disability Financial Clarity, we believe financial reporting should do more than satisfy compliance requirements. It should help organisations and individuals:

  • Make informed decisions

  • Improve financial visibility

  • Strengthen sustainability

  • Identify risks and opportunities

  • Build confidence for the future

We work collaboratively with providers, participants and individuals, taking a practical partnership approach to understanding challenges, identifying opportunities and implementing solutions that support long-term success.

Our goal is simple:

To empower providers, participants and individuals with greater financial clarity, confidence and operational insight.
